OPTI CCA-TS2 does not require any daily maintenance, uses disposable solid fluorescence sensors and does not require external reagents. Fast, fully automatic calibration before each sample with cassette inserted.
The Sensor Cassettes required for operation can be stored at a temperature between 2° and 30°C with stability according to the type.
This feature allows the user to turn on the equipment only when taking the measurements and to turn it off when the work is done without further consumption.
Integrated barcode for patient ID and operator ID scanning
Direct positioning of the syringe or capillary and automatic aspiration of the sample reduces operator risk. The blood does not come into contact with the instrument but only with the Sensor Cassette (disposable).
Once the test is completed, the syringe or capillary will remain sealed with the cassette, thus eliminating any possible contact with the blood by the operator.

Scan the cassette barcode.
Take the cassette out of the package.
Place the cassette in the sample measurement chamber and close the lid.
Take 125 µL of sample and place the syringe or capillary. The sample is aspirated automatically. The results will appear on the display in a few seconds.
OPTI CCA-TS2 offers a wide range of ready-to-use multi-parameter disposable Sensor Cassettes that can be stored at room temperature available in packs of 25 units.
Each cassette requires 125 µL of whole blood, serum, or plasma from a lithium-heparin-containing syringe or capillary.

Comfortsampler® are heparinized capillary-syringes for arterial sampling, highly performing and equipped with a safety needle cover.
(in compliance with OSHA guidelines – Occupational Safety and Health)
Their thin needle makes the sampling less traumatic and painful for the patient, avoiding causing hematomas.
The capillary tube inside the Comfortsampler® keeps the sample stable and cools it rapidly allowing the operator to process the sample within 30 minutes.
