Testsimplets® is an in vitro diagnostic test for rapid sample staining and differentiation of different cellular elements.
It is a useful tool for the characterization and differentiation of blood cellular elements: leukocyte count, reticulocyte count and platelet identification.
By means of this device it is possible to distinguish morphologically: erythrocytes, leukocytes, polymorphonuclear (neutrophilic, basophilic, eosinophilic granulocytes) and mononuclear (lymphocytes, monocytes, activated lymphocytes).
Useful for sperm staining and evaluation of sperm morphology (shape of the head, middle part of the cell and tail of the sperm).
Testsimplets® can also be used for urinary cytology, in fact they allow a rapid and different staining of cells of suspicious material in relation to tumor growth, offering a good alternative to the classic, somewhat elaborate methods of Papanicolaou and Pappenheim stains, used for diagnosis of urinary tract tumors.
For their use it is not necessary to prepare any solution, it is sufficient to add a small amount of sample on the surface of the slide. The specific affinity of the cell structure with the dyes present on the slide is detected by means of distinct stains which allow the evaluation of the different cellular elements. The amount of dyes present on the slide and their ratio in the prestained layer are constant and standardized for reliable staining.
