Up to 3 analytes in just 20 minutes. Fully automatic internal calibration.
No sample pre-treatment for plasma separation. Centrifugation takes place automatically within the system.
Systematic control of all analysis steps. The rotor also includes internal positive QC to ensure that the system is running properly.
Color touch screen with intuitive icons with step by step instructions.
Rotors ready to use. One-step test execution.
Results can be printed directly via the on-board printer or sent to the LIS/HIS via WI-FI.
The internal rechargeable battery makes Nexus IB10 usable on all moving emergency vehicles such as helicopters and ambulances and in all emergency medical contexts.
Apply 500 µL of sample to the rotor well
Insert the rotor into the tool
Wait 20 minutes for results to print
Sphingotec’s effort introduced 3 new proprietary biomarkers for use in the ICU to diagnose, predict and monitor major mortality drivers such as sepsis, acute heart failure, loss of endothelial function, circulatory shock, and acute kidney injury (AKI), al in order to support the clinician in patient management and provide guidance for the induction and escalation of therapy.
penKid® quantitatively determines the stable fragment of the hormone enkephalin which stimulates renal function. The increase and decrease of penKid® values reveal worsening or improvement of renal function independent of inflammation or any other comorbidity.
penKid® allows prediction, diagnosis and monitoring of acute kidney injury (AKI) up to 2 days before serum creatinine.

Bioactive adrenomedullin is an endothelial barrier control hormone. Bio-ADM® measures the bioactive fraction released by endothelial cells verifying vascular integrity – very important for blood pressure control and organ perfusion. Quantitative measurement of Bio-ADM® in plasma provides timely information on decongestant treatment, in case of acute heart failure and administration of vasopressors in patients at risk of shock or septic shock
Anticipates the onset of septic shock up to 2 days

Dipeptidyl Peptidase 3 (DPP3) is an intracellular enzyme. In a diseased state, cell death results in the uncontrolled release of DPP3 which inactivates the angiotensin II and enkephalin systems resulting in short-term organ dysfunction.
Increasing levels of DPP3 in plasma indicate an elevated risk of hemodynamic instability associated with a high risk of mortality.
